Austraclear Service Release 20 scheduled for 24 November 2025

Participants are advised that Austraclear Service Release 20 (SR20) is scheduled to go live on Monday, 24 November 2025. Participant testing will take place from Monday, 22 September to Friday, 17 October 2025.

Key updates in SR20:

1. SWIFT 2025 Standards Release

• Austraclear will align with the CPBR+ Usage Guidelines and SWIFT 2025 Message Standards upgrade, ending ISO 20022 coexistence.
• CBPR+ 2024 messages will no longer be supported after 22 November 2025.
• Participants must ensure SWIFT messages are submitted to Austraclear before 8:30pm on Friday, 21 November for the inclusion in the 24 November 2025 processing date.

2. Austraclear GUI update

• For users of the Common Gateway GUI (HTHL), version 6.21.0 will replace version 6.20.0.
  
• A new Weblauncher, version 2.28.0, will be available for download here from 8th September 2025, and will be installed on your PC. This updated version is fully compatible with the current Production version.
• Participants are required to download the updated Austraclear GUI to access the system.
• The Technical Briefing Pack contains implementation details for technical teams and will be published shortly and available here.  Notable changes include:

               -    End of support for Microsoft Windows 10 from 14 October 2025

               -    Miocrosoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable (x86). Please note that the (x64) version may also be necessary for certain participants.

3. Austraclear Report Enhancements

• Role Allocation Report – generated daily to support audit compliance.
• Linked Settlement Report – now produced at both Day End (4:28pm) and After Business (7:00pm).

4. Austraclear GUI Enhancements

• Addition of Series Class and Subclass fields on View Trades screen for improved reconciliation of invoice data.
• Display of Yield (price per hundred) on Series - View Corporate Actions screen to present upcoming corporate action information in a consolidated view.
• New ability to access user login details, including Sub-Participant, Usercode, logon times, and disconnection records.

5. SWIFT Enhancements

• MT564 INTR message updated to include the bond factor (field :92A::PRFC/4,9275 (for series permitting partial redemptions only).
• Field :92A::INTR//4,9275 will be removed from certain messages (as the interest rate amount is already present in the INTR message):

                  -   Partial Redemption (PRED)

                  -   Final Maturity (REDM)

                  -   Full Call/Early Redemption (MCAL)

6. Austraclear Assured Mode

• Cash Providers can now view all customers cash transactions in a single screen, removing the need to check records individually.

Key Dates

What do I need to do by when?

• By 21 November 2025 (before 8:30pm): SWIFT 2025 Standards Release - Participants must submit their SWIFT messages to Austraclear to ensure the messages are received prior to SWIFT updates for Monday 24 November 2025 processing date.
• From 22 September - 17 October 2025: Participate in testing of SR20 enhancements. Testing outside this window can be arranged via austraclear@asx.com.au
• Participants currently sending or planning to send ISO 20022 ‘MX’ messages must perform testing during this customer test window. This test is to validate the new ‘MX’ messages can be sent and received post the SWIFT November Standards Release 2025 upgrade in the Austraclear test environment, and prior to the scheduled go live of SR20 in production.
• From 1 September 2025:  Austraclear test environment will be in SWIFT Future Mode. Participants must be in this mode to conduct ISO 20022 testing.
• From 8 September 2025: Download and install the new Austraclear GUI (Weblauncher v2.28.0).
• 13 October 2025: Production file deployment available for installation.
• As there is a new Austraclear Graphical User Interface (GUI), it is mandatory for Participants to download the new version of the Austraclear GUI and log into the Austraclear system on the weekend of go-live.
• 22 November - 23 November 2025 (Go-Live Weekend). Assistance will be provided to participants experiencing any issues connecting to the system. Support will be provided on
  -   Saturday, 22 November: 17:00 - 18:30
  -   Sunday 23 November: 09:00–11:00

The file deployment version of the enhanced GUI for the test environment will be available here from 08 September and the production version will be available 13 October 2025.

Installation of the File Deployment and HTHL software is password protected. Please contact the Austraclear Help Desk to obtain the installation password.
