ASX Trading and Clearing participants are advised that no new option series will be listed on The Star Entertainment Group (SGR) and Chalice Mining (CHN) effective from Tuesday 3 June 2025.

Once all existing option contracts with open interest have expired, The Star Entertainment Group (SGR) and Chalice Mining (CHN) will cease being an ETO Class on ASX Trade. ASX made this decision due to both companies no longer being included in the S&P/ASX 200 index in line with current policy.

Please note, SGR and CHN stock will no longer be accepted as general collateral on ASX Clear however can still be used as specific cover against their respective ETOs.

What do I need to do by when?

Users should consider speaking with their broker to manage their option exposures on SGR and CHN.
