The purpose of this ASX Notice is to inform ASX Market Participants that as a consequence of the wholesale bond market being closed on Monday, 5 August 2024, market makers in Exchange-traded Australian Government Bonds will not be obligated to provide prices for the market trading session on this date.

The ASX and ASIC Market Integrity Rules regarding trade cancellations will continue to apply.  If ASX is required to determine an extreme trade range reference price, should the price established by the auction or the opening transaction be invalid, the market close from Friday, 2 August 2024 can be used.

Market makers will recommence providing prices at the commencement of the market on Tuesday, 6 August 2024.
