Australia will hold a National Day of Mourning and Public Holiday to commemorate Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 22 September 2022.

As a result, ASX has declared that the ASX Trade Market will be closed on that day.

ASX has reached this decision with the support of key stakeholders. This is consistent with the position of most other major institutions.

It is standard practice for ASX to observe national holidays by declaring a non-trading and non-settlement day.

While the relatively short notice presents operational, technical and business challenges for ASX and the market, ASX appreciates the support of its stakeholders to help honour the significance of the occasion.

Please find below details on the Trading and Clearing hours for the Public Holiday for ASX Trade.
