The proposed method of termination for ETOs over CIMIC Group Limited (ASX Code: CIM) under the HOCHTIEF Australia Holdings Limited (HOCHTIEF) was outlined in Notice No. 0310.22.03 dated Monday, 25 March 2022.
HOCHTIEF has now triggered a compulsory acquisition for remaining shareholders and announced that CIM will likely be suspended from trading on Friday, 6 May 2022 – the last trading day for the company.
Participants should be aware of the content of this Notice as it sets out the treatment of the termination with respect to open positions in ASX CIM ETO contracts.
Termination Prices of Series
Termination will be done at intrinsic value for each series using the last traded price on Friday, 6 May 2022.
Option positions held at the close of business on Friday, 6 May 2022 will be closed out and cash settled at intrinsic value. Takers will be credited and writers will be debited. ASXCL will settle these cash amounts on Monday, 9 May 2022.
A further notice will be released after close of business Friday, 6 May 2022 outlining the termination prices.
Exercise Restriction
Exercises will be restricted on the likely last day of trading of CIM securities on ASX Friday, 6 May 2022.
