Throughout 2022, ASX is upgrading Genium CWS devices to reduce operational risk and update operating system supportability. The existing, physical CWS devices will be replaced with servers that have new system specifications.
The new Genium CWS devices will be incrementally delivered to customer sites and in ALC customer cabinets. ASX will contact Participants directly to coordinate activities and timings for this upgrade. Participants are not required to make any configuration changes to their systems on the application level or network level.
Pre-requisites
Prior to the deployment of the new CWS servers participants are required to update their Clearing Workstation user interface software ”CW1” to version r143631.
- The CW1 installation kit requires Windows 10 or above.
- The kit will be made available via the ASX SFTP service in early July. Please contact CTS@asx.com.au for instructions.
Participants must upgrade their CW1 client software in advance of their CWS server upgrades. CW1 r143631 is backwards-compatible with the existing CWS server versions.
