This Notice is to confirm 23 November 2020 as the commencement date of the Trade Acceptance Service provided to National Stock Exchange of Australia Limited (NSX) by ASX Clear and ASX Settlement through CHESS.

Effective from 23 November 2020, NSX will be able to submit Valid Trade Registration Request Messages to be cleared and settled in respect of NSX listed CHESS eligible Financial Products.

ASX Clear and ASX Settlement Operating Rules and Procedures changes

The amendments to the ASX Clear and ASX Settlement Operating Rules and Procedures are attached.

ASX ReferencePoint

ASX’s ReferencePoint Securities Master List product currently includes the CHESS eligible Financial Products of Approved Market Operators.  NSX listed CHESS eligible Financial Products will be tagged with a Quoted Security Indicator of 8 to represent securities ‘Cleared on ASX, Not Quoted on ASX, Not Tradable on ASX Trade’ going forward.

ASX’s Trade Acceptance Service (TAS) provides non-discriminatory access to clearing and settlement arrangements for unaffiliated Approved Market Operators (AMOs). The Trade Acceptance Service enables trades in CHESS eligible Financial Products executed on any Australian licensed trading platform to be cleared and settled by ASX Clear and ASX Settlement.
