Austraclear Service Release 10 Go-Live Monday 23 November 2020

The readiness criteria for the Austraclear November Service Release has been met and a decision has been made to proceed with the implementation over this weekend, for Go-Live on Monday 23 November 2020.

The key changes within Austraclear Service Release 10 will include:

• Replacement of SWIFT single message method with SWIFT two message market practice for Market Repo instruction;

          -    Austraclear SWIFT Messaging - V1 - 541 - Receive Against Payment

          -    Austraclear SWIFT Messaging - V1 - 543 - Deliver Against Payment

• SWIFT enhancement for deferred settlement:

           -    Additional method to defer transaction (PREA – pre advice)

            -    Ability to undefer transactions within MT542 and MT543

• SWIFT 2020 release deployment

What do I need to do by when?

There are two methods for installing the software for ASX Austraclear;

1.       Web Browser https://asx.austraclear.com.au/Release5/

2.       File Deployment – (Desktop Shortcut or via Program Menu)

The software package will need to be downloaded and installed by your IT Department. The file deployment version is published in the following link: www.asxonline.com. This file deployment version is password protected -  please contact the Austraclear Helpdesk for access. The item description is “Austraclear SR10 – PRODUCTION Software Package – EXIGO File Deployment SR10 ver 2.18.6 - Prod”. The existing Austraclear File Deployment Production GUI should not be removed until after the Go Live weekend.
