ASX is providing a new way for customers to receive timely, accurate information about key system outages, incidents and resolution.

From today, customers can visit ASX Online to subscribe to receive ASX System Status alerts via email or SMS. This is a great outcome which will improve the accuracy and timeliness of communications to customers in the event of a major interruption to ASX systems or services.

SMS notifications will initially be available to mobile numbers in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom. We expect to extend SMS support to US numbers in coming months. Email notifications are available to all users across all locations. System status will also continue to be published on asx.com.au for non-ASX Online users to access.

What do I need to do by when?

The new feature is available on ASX Online for users to subscribe immediately. To opt in to the new feature, simply log into ASX Online and use the subscription user guide for a step-by-step process.

If you do not currently have an ASX Online account, please contact your Enterprise Administrator to set-up your user. Otherwise you can contact ASX Customer Service for further assistance.
