ASX appoints Prime Banks annually based on Prime Bank eligibility criteria, as set out in the Prime Bank Conventions. As part of the annual process, ASX surveys participants active in the Prime Bank paper market for their views on the nominated banks. Notice 1262.19.11 was issued on 16th November 2019 inviting feedback from participants on the list of nominated names by 12th December 2019.  

There has been no change to the list of Prime Banks. The confirmed Prime Banks for the period December 2019- December 2020 are:

·         Australia New Zealand Banking group

·         Commonwealth Bank of Australia

·         National Australia Bank

·         Westpac Banking Corporation
