To support an available market for investors to purchase CHESS Depositary Interests (CDIs) in respect of ordinary shares in Glencore plc (Glencore) from Day 1 of its trading on ASX’s market as a secondary dual listing (expected 14 October 2026), ASX Settlement has determined to open the CHESS CDI subregister during certain times (‘processing windows’) prior to the commencement of trading.
This is for the limited purpose of enabling testing and certain transfers and transmutations in CHESS by Settlement Participants to facilitate Day 1 liquidity for Glencore CDIs, including to establish a local CDI inventory to support Day 1 trading by the participant or the trading participant it supports.

Settlement participants accessing CHESS during the processing windows are taken to represent that this:
Existing holders of ordinary shares in Glencore will continue to be able to request their Glencore shares be converted into Glencore CDIs by contacting Glencore’s share registry as referred to in Glencore’s notice.
Settlement participants will also be able to perform processing in CHESS from the morning of commencement of trading in Glencore CDIs on ASX’s market in the normal way.
