ALC customers are advised that ASX will be completing maintenance on the circuit breakers connected to the low voltage switchboards at the ALC. The maintenance will be conducted over three weekends. During each maintenance window, Low Voltage Switchboard A (LV-A) Low Voltage Switchboard B (LV-B) or Low Voltage Switchboard C (LV-C) will be shutdown.

There are three maintenance sessions planned:

•           LV-C Sunday 8th March 06:00 – 16:00 AEDT

•           LV-A Sunday 15th March 06:00 – 16:00 AEDT

•           LV-B Sunday 29th March 06:00 – 16:00 AEDT

The shutdowns will commence at 06:00 on each Sunday above. Customers will need to prepare to run on a single power feed, making the necessary arrangements to guarantee their powered space is properly configured to ensure minimal disruptions. This includes balancing power between dual power feeds and ensuring single-corded hardware has redundancy. ASX recommends that a Static Transfer Switch (STS) be installed if you have single-corded hardware.

ASX will be working closely with its service engineers and monitoring racks for the duration of the shutdown.

ALC access and other services will continue as per normal procedures.

What do I need to do by when?

ASX strongly recommends that you understand the power draw needs in your environment and take the opportunity to confirm that your racks are set up correctly to ensure you have full power redundancy within each rack. If you have any questions regarding this maintenance, please contact ASX Customer Technical Support (CTS) at cts@asx.com.au.
