ASX is pleased to announce the publication of the SOFIA Customer Readiness Guide, which provides industry participants with information on the production launch of the Secured Overnight Funding Index of Australia (SOFIA) and the publication channels that will be available from go-live.
ASX is targeting the commencement of commercial publication of SOFIA on 28 September 2026.
The Customer Readiness Guide has been developed to assist market participants in preparing their operational, technology and market data environments ahead of launch.
The guide includes:
· Key launch and implementation dates
· Sample publication formats for Bloomberg, Refinitiv, SFTP, email and the ASX website
· Support contacts

Until 11 September 2026, SOFIA Beta will continue to be published based on SOFIA Beta methodology document.
From 12 September 2026, SOFIA will be calculated in accordance with the final SOFIA Methodology and Conventions but will not be externally published.
From 28 September 2026, SOFIA will be published through all production distribution channels.
Upon launch, 10 business days of historical SOFIA data will be available on ASX Website.
What do I need to do by when?
ASX encourages participants intending to consume SOFIA data to review the Customer Readiness Guide and complete all relevant readiness activities prior to launch, including:
· Discuss your SOFIA data needs with ASX
· Configuring Bloomberg and Refinitiv production identifiers
· Completing SFTP connectivity testing
· Registering operational email recipients
· Reviewing the SOFIA Methodology and Conventions
