Industry Wide Test 1 (IWT1) Update
ASX wishes to thank participants and vendors who participated in IWT1 on the 12 April 2025. The overall participation represented 97.75% market share.
During the system start-up for IWT1, ASX identified a non-functional defect which resulted in some system components requiring a manual start-up.
This defect did not impact the performance or functional elements of the Service Release 15 (SR15) IWT1.
ASX has worked closely with our vendor to identify the root cause of the issue and develop a fix. The fix will be extensively validated within our internal testing processes and governance procedures.
Industry Wide Test 2 (IWT2) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
IWT2/BCP will proceed on SR15 as scheduled on the 3rd May 2025, as per the market notice. This will enable ASX to further validate the corrective release addressing the start-up issue in the production environment
Delay to ASX Trade Service Release 15 Industry Wide Test 3 (IWT3) and Go-Live
In the interest of ensuring a safe and stable go-live for all stakeholders, ASX considers a delay to the scheduled go-live is appropriate.
ASX will provide a revised go-live date with a minimum of 3 weeks notice following IWT2, targeting SR15 production implementation prior to the end of financial year.
Amendments to the ASX Operating Rule Procedures – ASX Service Release 15
As advised in the market notice released on 9 April 2025, 'Amendments to the ASX Operating Rule Procedures – ASX Service Release 15' - will now come into effect on the revised go-live date.
