ASX advises the timeline for Industry Wide Testing (IWT) and go-live for the SR15 Core Functional Enhancements and FIX Drop Copy Service, subject to regulatory approval.
FIX Order Entry and Market Data Feed (MDF) services will be out of scope for the initial release. These features will be enabled at a later date, details to be provided in a future announcement.
The IWT and target go-live dates for the release are as follows:

The production configuration for the initial SR15 release will include the following:
Core Functional Enhancements:
- Removal of Open Auction stagger,
- Introduction of the OSPA levelling period,
- Introduction of the Post-Close trading session,
- CSPA enhancement for late price sensitive announcements,
- Simplification of block and late trades, and
- Trading Halt session state enhancements
Optional Feature:
- FIX Drop Copy Service for orders, trades and reference data
Industry Wide Testing
Participants and vendors will be required to participate in at least one IWT event. Participants will be required to attest at the completion of the IWT that they are able to successfully support the mandatory core functional enhancements in the production environment.
FIX Drop Copy
The FIX Drop Copy specification [Link] was published on 30th October 2024. Connectivity to the service in CDE+ will be made available in December 2024. FIX Drop Copy will only be available on the go-live date for participants that have completed development and conformance prior to the start of the IWT period.
FIX Order Entry and MDF Services
The specifications for FIX Order Entry and MDF are now targeted for release in Q1 2025, with a target go-live in production for these services in Q3 2025.
Customer Test Environments
CDE+
FIX Order Entry and MDF services will be released into the CDE+ environment following the successful completion of the SR15 Go-Live.
CDE
SR15 Core functional enhancements and FIX Drop Copy will be available in CDE environment following the successful completion of the SR15 Go-Live.
