Change of Unit Registry and mFund Security Codes

The purpose of this ASX Notice is to inform ASX Settlement Participants of the change in mFund security code for the following funds for which abrdn Australia Limited is the responsible entity. This is due to a change of investment manager and unit registry / Product Issuer Settlement Participant responsible under the ASX Settlement Operating Rules for facilitating settlement of requests for the application and redemption of mFund products) from Citi Unit Registry Australia to Apex Fund Services Pty Ltd. This change is expected to occur after the close of business on Friday, 14 April 2023.

Please note that the new mFund codes will carry a temporary ISIN at the time of the change. The ISIN will revert back to the APIR ISIN at a later date. Participants will be notified before the ISIN change becomes effective.

As a result of the change, participants are advised that applications, redemptions or switches for these mFund products received after 11:00am AEDST on Wednesday, 12 April 2023 will not be accepted for processing (“transactions”). These transactions will ultimately be rejected back to the Settlement Participant concerned. The normal order processing will resume on Monday, 17 April 2023.

For any transactions during this “blackout period”, please speak to either abrdn Australia Limited or Citi Unit Registry Australia to discuss alternate options to transact in the above funds.

The units will remain under the old mFund codes and will be transferred to the new mFund codes by Apex Fund Services Pty Ltd on Monday, 17 April 2023.
