The readiness criteria for the CHESS 10 November Release have been met and a decision has been made to proceed with the implementation over the weekend of 10-11 November 2018, ready for Go-Live on Monday 12 November 2018

The CHESS 10 Project Website (https://www.asxonline.com/content/asxonline/public/landing-pages/CHESS_10.html) provides further information about the functionality and enhancements being offered under this release.  

The ASX implementation is scheduled to take place from 8:00am to 14:00pm on Saturday 10 November.

CHESS vendors and participants planning their own implementation on the transition weekend (10-11 November 2018) are requested to commence post successful ASX implementation and advise ASX of their plans including approximate timing by email to CHESShelp@asx.com.au. Please include subject line (mFund CHESS 10 implementation- organisation name). ASX will be tracking implementation progress. 

CHESS vendors and participants are able to connect post the ASX implementation at 14:00pm on Saturday 10 November 2018. As per standard process, all messages will remain queued until 6:00am Monday 12 November.

CHESS will be unavailable from 7:30am until 12:00pm on Sunday 11 November 2018.

What do I need to do by when?

In preparation for the implementation weekend activities, ASX recommend that Product Issuer Settlement Participants ‘accept or reject’ all mFund related orders by 17:00pm on Friday 9 November 2018.

Users that access CHESS via CHESS Access or CHESS PC must execute the upgrade pack post successful ASX implementation on Saturday 10 November and prior to connecting on Monday 12 November.

The ASX external communication schedule is outlined below. All communications on the day will be managed via the ASX System Status page at https://www.asx.com.au/about/system-status.htm

Should a production issue arise post implementation, ASX will keep the market informed via CHESS help email notifications and the system status page.

Update to confirm that the ASX system release has been successfully deployed to Production, and Vendors are now able to perform their system updates and connect to CHESS
