This notice is to advise customers of ReferencePoint Master List of the discontinuation of the dedicated file for Exchange Traded Options (ETOs) and ASX Futures security details, known as E20 file, which contains the SP and SQ message types. This file will no longer be available from Monday, 6 February 2017.
The E20 file is delivered via our closed group ASX Online Market Information web portal and has the following file name convention depending on the format used by customers:
E20_yymmdd.mag for fixed length ASCII format
E20______.csv for the csv format
The SP and SQ message types are currently available in the existing ReferencePoint Master List E01 & E02 files and will continue to be available in these files moving forward. A reminder of the timing and content coverage of the E01 & E02 files:
Weekly E01 Full Security Download: containing all security types (including the SP & SQ Messages); messages contain File Content Indicator data field value of “1” – to indicate complete download
Daily E02 Security Changes: delta file contains all security types (including the SP & SQ Messages); messages contain File Content Indicator delta data field values of:
“2” Change
“3” New Insertion
“4” Deletion
Customers are advised to utilise the E01 & E02 files as their source for the ETOs and ASX Futures contracts security details going forward.
The last day the E20 file will be available to customers is Friday, 03 February 2017.

What do I need to do by when?
Customers of ReferencePoint Master List who use the ReferencePoint Master List E20 file – ETOs (SP Message) and ASX Futures (SQ Message) weekly full security download file for their end of week securities processing should have adapted their process to use the E01 file by Friday, 03 February 2017.
ReferencePoint Master List customers using existing E01 file for their end of week all securities processing simply continue with the current process.
